This is a brief of my post accident experience.
I went into a coma state & the time I opened my eyes I was in the emergency ward. The clock was on the wall opposite to me & it reads 9:35pm (If I was not wrong). It was less like a hospital & more like a fish market. My shirt was missing & my jeans were filled with blood. My right cheek swelled & I can only see with one eye which is blurred. There was a person who got hold of my left hand & he was crying. I recognized him as Rustem but his voice lacked clarity. Ashish, my roommate, walked up to my stretcher to donate his black T-Shirt. There were around 15-20 wounds waiting for special attention. There were stitches on my nose, upper part of the lip & leg. After looking at my hand I felt like a kick boxer after the match with blood stains on it. With some tests I certified myself that I had no fractures. I started calling people but they were busy in their work. Sushant responded and walked up to me. I asked him “What Happened?” His traditional answer “Light raa!!! ” Something happened as I went asleep. Ashish woke me up & took me to Trinadh’s (my Engg. Friend) room on his bike.
The next day I got up early & walked to the mirror to have a look at my wounds on the face. It was a day when the room was very silent with only some ringing mobiles. I got some calls in the first half & the next half was silent. Even some of my classmates in Greater Noida did not even come to see me or either cal me up. It’s a pity to have some relationships. I took an oath that I do all my works myself but it was broken every 12 hours.
Some of the advantages I had are
- Thrinadh, my best friend, coming as a Senior Engg. in a project in Greater Noida
- College declaring one week holidays and I met with the accident on the first day itself
- Informing in the home that I am not coming for Holidays
Every time a new person looks at me I used to observe 3 circles in their face, mouth and two eyes. This expression they make is a signal to my left or right brain that I have to tell them what happened. The reasoning people use while knowing what happened to me is unimaginable. If they would have used the reasoning in their lives they would have prospered.
According to 3 doctors (Orthopedic, Physiotherapist & Eye Specialist) I should take 20-25 tablets at different times a day. Each tablet is of different colour (Black, White, Red, Yellow, Green, etc). Every time I had the tablet, without my consciousness, I used to have the biggest tablet first.
Till now it is Rs. 30,000/- investment for my adventure. There are many intangible investments that were by gone.
Last but not the least, It is really difficult to do nothing. May be it is a reason for writing this blog. Photos are not uploaded as they did not cross the sensor formalities. A person learns some minute things clearly (I may cover them in my next blog post) during the post accident process.
